Payments go through Whop into your own Whop account, at your own Whop rate, and Whop pays you out. Chekvo bills its plan once a month and never holds your money.
Always a way to pay
The storefront script checks Chekvo before sending a shopper to it. If Chekvo doesn't answer, the shopper goes to Shopify's own checkout instead.

Do I need Shopify Payments?
No. Payments go through your own Whop account, which is why stores that can't use Shopify Payments or Stripe use Chekvo.
