Questions
Does Chekvo hold my money?
No. Shoppers pay through Whop into your own Whop account, and Whop pays you out. Chekvo bills its plan once a month, plus extra orders past your plan, if any. A share is taken only where you earn more: subscription orders (2%) and orders routed by the rotator (3%).
Do orders still show up in Shopify?
Yes. Every paid or cash-on-delivery order is created in Shopify with lines, shipping and discount, and Shopify sends the confirmation email as usual.
Can the checkout run on my own domain?
Yes. Add one CNAME record (for example checkout.yourstore.com) and Chekvo issues the SSL certificate. Shoppers never see a third-party address.
Do I get told when something goes wrong?
Yes, on your phone and computer, as it happens: every sale, refunds, disputes, an order Shopify refused, or a Whop account that stopped working (Chekvo moves payments to your other accounts at once).
What if Chekvo is down?
The storefront script falls back to Shopify's own checkout, so shoppers can always pay.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Build your checkout and open it in preview for free. Pick a plan when you take real orders.
What happens if I go over my plan's orders?
Nothing stops: every extra order costs a few cents ($0.15 on Starter, $0.12 on Growth, $0.10 on Scale), added to your monthly charge. Your billing page shows when a bigger plan would cost less.
Is there a free plan?
No. Plans start at $99 per store per month, and each store has its own plan and dashboard.
Are SMS and WhatsApp messages included?
Cash-on-delivery confirmations by WhatsApp are free and unlimited: the shopper sends us their code. Each plan includes a monthly credit for paid messages (SMS codes, WhatsApp reminders); past it, they're billed at cost plus a small margin with your monthly fees, and you see every message on your billing page.
How is cart recovery billed?
Emails cost nothing. When a shopper clicks a reminder and pays, Chekvo takes 5% of that order. WhatsApp reminders use your monthly message credit first.
