About Chekvo
Chekvo is a branded checkout for Shopify stores that can't rely on Shopify Payments or Stripe: stores in countries those processors don't serve, stores whose payouts were frozen, and stores in categories they turn down. Shoppers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through the merchant's own Whop account, or with cash on delivery, and every paid order is created in Shopify at once.
How the money moves
- The shopper's payment goes to the merchant's own Whop account. Chekvo never receives, holds or pays out the merchant's money.
- Whop sets the card rate and the payout schedule on that account. Chekvo charges a monthly plan per store (see pricing).
- If Chekvo is unavailable, shoppers fall back to the store's normal Shopify checkout.
